MOSAIC TILE HOUSE

A quirky 1940's home, transformed into a piece of art with colored tile and cut glass mosaics.

The Mosaic Tile House is the embodiment of LA's quirky and electic personality. It reflects the city's artistic core and inspires designers by showing what pushing an artistic idea to the edge looks like. It is a private house which is inhabited by it's owner Cheri Pann and Gonzalo Duran. In 1944, the artist couple began to gradually cover their house with tile mosaics, inspired by famous works and objects such as the famous musical Alice in Wonderland. This work-in-progress art installation can be admired in Venice during a tour personally guided by the couple.
